$2,956 per week

Job Overview The Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist assists physicians in performing minimally invasive procedures using advanced imaging technology. Responsibilities include patient preparation, operating fluoroscopic and other imaging modalities, maintaining a sterile field, monitoring vital signs, administering contrast media, ensuring radiation safety, equipment troubleshooting, managing supplies, collaborating with the team, infection control, patient education, and other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
One year of recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
Valid ARRT or RCIS/RCES certification in compliance with state regulations.
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
Preferred Qualifications
Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).
Valid radiologic technologist license in compliance with state regulations.
PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification.
Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position.
Essential Skill Set
Critical thinking, service excellence, and interpersonal communication.
Ability to read and write in English, follow verbal and written instructions, PC proficiency.
Physical ability to remain in a stationary position, move equipment 50–100 lbs, push, pull, and bend.
Interpersonal skills to work with varied personnel with a positive attitude.
Technical skills for fine manipulation and equipment use.
Ability to cope with frequent contact with the public, meet deadlines under pressure, work under close supervision or independently, handle irregular schedules, maintain concentration.
Good visual acuity and effective communication.
