Schedule & Shift Full‑time. Shift: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday – 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Compensation Sign‑On Bonus: $7,500 Relocation Bonus: $1,500
Pay Range: $28.68 – $53.35 per hour
Responsibilities
Attend department meetings and support department objectives.
Obtain high‑quality scans by following proper exam protocols and adapting procedures to each patient’s medical situation.
Confirm patient and exam accuracy using two patient identifiers before administering exams.
Perform, document, and report all procedures in accordance with departmental policy.
Review images and complete ultrasound worksheets promptly, re‑scanning patients as requested by Radiologists.
Communicate and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, including notifying physicians of abnormal findings.
Utilize computer systems to update exam status, manage orders, and ensure accurate charges.
Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment safely, adhering to infection control standards.
Perform a full range of diagnostic ultrasound procedures and rotate between multiple departments as needed.
Assist with clinical instructions and serve as a resource to less experienced employees.
Participate in performance improvement activities and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Associate degree with Basic Life Support – CPR Certification (BLS)
Registered Technologist – Vascular Sonography (R.T.(VS)(ARRT))) – EV Accredited Issuing Body
Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) – EV Accredited Issuing Body
Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) – EV Accredited Issuing Body
