Respiratory therapists assist patients who have breathing difficulties, including chronic respiratory diseases such as emphysema and asthma, as well as infants with undeveloped lungs to adult patients with lung disease. They may also give emergency aid for breathing problems, heart attacks, drowning, and shock.
The pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
