Type: Per Diem Independent Contractor (1099) ty: Supporting children and youth in expressing emotions and developing coping strategies through creative and kinesthetic methods. Responsibilities
Conduct individual and group sessions to support children in coping with healthcare experiences. Design and implement therapeutic programs to meet emotional and developmental needs of pediatric patients. Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. Maintain detailed, accurate records of therapy sessions, patient progress, and outcomes. Foster a safe, nurturing environment that encourages children to express feelings and develop coping strategies. Qualifications
Certified Child Life Specialist with certification through the Child Life Council. Experience working with the medically fragile pediatric population is highly preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team. Passionate about supporting children and families during challenging healthcare situations. Compensation
Rate: $40 per hour Benefits
