About the Position TravelNurseSource is partnering with AMN Healthcare to fill a CVOR RN position in Farmington. This role requires an RN with experience in surgical circulator and scrub duties, with a preference for candidates comfortable with complex neuro, spine, and orthopedic cases, including robotic (Da Vinci) procedures. The position is based in a 13‑week contract with no holiday return‑to‑office and includes on‑call service at least one weekend per month. Overtime may be required as the role integrates with the unit’s rotation pool.
Responsibilities
Scrub and circulate during cardiovascular operating room surgeries.
Manage surgical instruments and supplies.
Maintain patient safety and uphold sterile technique.
Assist in complex neuro, spine, and orthopedic cases, including robotic procedures.
Report to the surgical team and provide timely updates.
Complete required overtime and on‑call duties per unit schedule.
Required Qualifications
Active RN license in Connecticut.
Minimum 4‑5 years of OR RN experience or equivalent combined experience.
Proven scrub and circulate experience, capable of performing independently.
Experience circulating ortho, spine, and neuro surgeries.
Vaccination requirements: COVID‑19 and flu vaccines (exceptions may be granted for medical or religious reasons).
Will apply for and obtain CT RN license within 24 hours of assignment start.
Will provide NURSYS copy and comply with all travel nurse policies.
