Overview
Apply for the Therapist, Behavioral Health Unit at Spring View Hospital-BHU, a full-time, day shift position with Lifepoint Health®.
Responsibilities
Deliver independent practice psychiatric care aligned with licensed scope levels for patients on the Behavioral Health Units.
Document and provide comprehensive mental health services to psychiatric patients.
Develop and facilitate discharge planning in collaboration with patients, families, and guardians.
Provide psychoeducational programming and lead or co‑lead group psychotherapy as assigned.
Offer care to child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients as needed.
Coordinate discharge plans and post‑hospital care through community agencies.
Utilize evidence‑based tools to analyze and identify trends and patterns for quality improvement.
Prepare statistical reports and participate in billing procedures as required.
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or equivalent professional counseling licensure pending State requirements.
LMSW, LCSW LPC‑I, LPC, LMFT, or Independent Practice Scope Licensure in State of Practice preferred.
Minimum 1 year of experience preferred.
