Summary of Job Duties We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in a PRN capacity. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing comprehensive care in both the UAMS Outpatient Therapy Clinic and the Arkansas State Veteran's Home at Fayetteville, AR. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for patients by addressing their physical, emotional, and functional needs. This position allows for flexibility in scheduling while making a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of individuals in both outpatient and skilled nursing facility (SNF) environments.

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications

Baccalaureate Degree, Major in Occupational Therapy, plus two (2) years OT experience, OR Master's degree

Certified by the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) or eligible to apply for the examination.

Current Arkansas license or eligible to apply and obtain a license within one (1) month of hire.

CPR certified within one month of hire.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Strong clinical skills in evaluation, treatment planning, and patient care.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to read, write, and communicate with clinic staff, physicians, and the public.

Must possess good hand-eye coordination and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail.

Must have the ability to conduct and interpret tests administered to patients.

Preferred Qualifications

Bilingual skills (Spanish-English) preferred.

Certified by the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) or eligible to apply for the examination.

LSVT BIG certified.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care and diagnose and treat patients of all ages with medical conditions or health-related limitations.

Examine individuals and develop treatment plans to promote mobility, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability.

Develop fitness and wellness-oriented programs to prevent the loss of mobility.

Ensure compliance with UAMS' policies, procedures, and HIPAA standards through accurate documentation.

Complete daily documentation using Clinicient EMR for outpatient care and Point Click Care EMR for SNF care.

May perform other duties as assigned.

Salary Information Commensurate with education and experience.
