Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist Assistant – Middle Georgia Orthopedics, Warner Robins Join Innovative Therapy Concepts (ITC), a PT‑owned therapy management organization partnering with Middle Georgia Orthopedics, to provide outpatient orthopedic care to a diverse range of surgical and non‑operative patients. This role allows for growth, mentorship, and a team‑focused environment.

Overview Location: Warner Robins, Georgia. Employment Type: Full‑time. Experience: Licensed PTAs and new graduates welcome.

We Are Seeking

PTA with a strong drive to learn and grow

Candidate focused on patient care, quality, outcomes, and efficiency

Graduate of a CAPTE‑accredited PTA program

Responsible individual with a solid work ethic

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

New graduates welcome — clinical education and mentorship provided

Responsibilities

Administer physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist

Perform active and passive manual therapeutic exercises, therapeutic massage, and modalities (ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat, light, etc.)

Administer traction, fit and train patients on orthopedic braces, prostheses, and supportive devices

Instruct, motivate, and assist patients with functional activities (preambulation, transfer, ambulation, daily living activities)

Observe patients, compile and evaluate data, report progress orally or in writing to Physical Therapist

Consult with therapy staff and other health team members individually and in conferences to plan, modify, coordinate treatment programs

Orient newly hired PTAs and direct Physical Therapy Aides

Perform clerical duties: inventory, ordering supplies, answering phone, taking messages, filling out forms

Measure patients’ range‑of‑motion, girths, vital signs to assess treatment effects

Monitor treatments administered by PT Asides

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Must have an active and current Physical Therapist Assistant license to practice in the state of residence.

Physical Demands Stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, and occasionally sit, climb or balance. Must frequently lift or move up to 50 lbs and may lift or move more than 100 lbs with assistance. Vision: close, distance, depth perception, focus adjustment. Reasonable accommodations available.

Education And/Or Experience Associate’s degree (A.A.) from an accredited two‑year college or technical school, or 6 months to 1 year of related experience/training, or equivalent combination.
