This 38‑bed unit focuses on treating pre/post‑operative surgical patients, performing procedures necessary for proper placement of lines and assisting with peripheral nerve blocks. Post‑operatively, patients are prepared for discharge in the same area, offering continuity for the Phase II Recovery or discharge phase. Critical care experience is desired. Responsibilities
Coordinate patient care during assigned shifts and support workflow. Provide guidance to the surgical team and ensure quality improvement at both the unit and hospital level. Assist with placement of lines, peripheral nerve blocks, and discharge preparation. Requirements
Active Kentucky RN license. 6 months relevant patient care experience required. BCLS required within 90 days of hire. ACLS required within 6 months of hire. Education
