Job Details
Schedule: 8‑hour day shift, Monday–Friday
Hospital: Medical Park Tower
Location: 1301 West 38th Street, Austin, TX 78705

Responsibilities
Assist provider by documenting the provider‑patient encounter during the patient exam exactly as it is verbalized.
Accompany provider into the patient examination room to document the provider's encounter with the patient.
List all proper diagnoses and symptoms, as well as follow‑up instructions and prescriptions as indicated by the provider.
Transcribe patient orders including but not limited to laboratory tests, radiology tests and medications.
Document procedures performed by the provider.
Requirements & Skills
Education: High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job‑specific experience required.
Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
Medical Scribe experience highly preferred.
