Role Description This is a full-time on-site role with options to travel for a Rotating Equipment Technician located in the Greater Tampa Bay Area. The technician will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines, and gearboxes. Day-to-day tasks include performing inspections, diagnosing mechanical issues, conducting preventive maintenance, and assembling and disassembling equipment. The role requires collaboration with other team members to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Proficiency in maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and assembling rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, and turbines
Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with tools, hydraulic systems, and precision measuring instruments
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
Strong organizational and time‑management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively
Experience in the Process Industry is highly desirable
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in mechanical or industrial fields is a plus
Willingness to work on‑site in the Greater Tampa Bay Area and adapt to flexible schedules, if needed
Willingness to travel for industrial on‑site repairs.
