Compass Health Center
Overview
Weekly outpatient therapy isn't always enough, and a trip to the ER isn't the only answer. Patients and their families rely on CompassHealth Center when in crisis — every day, we help people overcome depression, anxiety, suicidality, obsessions/compulsions, trauma, chronic pain, and other obstacles so our patients can live freely. About This Role
As the largest provider of PHP/IOP programs and psychiatric services in Illinois, Compass Health Center is one of the fastest-growing behavioral health organizations. We are expanding our innovative and highly distinguished programs that redefine our industry and raise the standard for comprehensive care. Launching in late 2025, our newest location in Golden Valley, MN, will be home to top local talent in behavioral health care. This interdisciplinary team will build our adolescent and adult programs from the ground up alongside leadership of well-established clinicians and doctors working in PHP/IOP behavioral health care for the past decade. Our clinical roles will work with patients individually, in groups, or with families in our Mood & Anxiety Program, while also offering the opportunity to be cross-trained within our specialty programs and services: School Refusal, OCD/Complex Anxiety, Trauma, Mental Health and Substance Use. Note that this position is slated to start in November and will receive ~6 weeks of comprehensive training prior to seeing patients. Who You Are
Are passionate about patient care and seeking an environment to work collaboratively with others. Are a Psychologist or Master’s level therapist. Have prior experience or interest in working with patients of varying diagnoses including Mood & Anxiety, OCD/Complex Anxiety, Trauma, Mental Health and Substance Use. Possess a core skill set of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Have prior experience working in partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, inpatient hospital, or residential settings (preferred, not required). Licensure in Maryland, Washington D.C., or Virginia is acceptable for consideration. Who We Are
Compass Health Center is a recognized leader in crisis-level mental health, bringing passion, connection, and patient-centered care to the Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient space (PHP/IOP). Based in Chicagoland, we serve hundreds of patients every day, ranging from ages 5 through adulthood, in onsite facilities or through virtual programming. Compass fills a critical gap between outpatient and inpatient care through an intermediate level of Behavioral Healthcare. Our values include cultural humility, teamwork, continuous improvement, connection, patient-centered care, passion, innovation, and agility. Joining Compass is an opportunity to feel fulfilled through a shared mission toward healing our communities. We offer space for growth and opportunities to pursue continuous development within our organization. Eligible positions come with comprehensive medical/dental/vision plans, a 401k with company matching, generous PTO (including parental leave after 1 year), and ongoing CEU training and volunteering opportunities. What’s Next?
Compass is committed to cultivating diverse and dynamic teams with a passion for their craft. We encourage you to apply even if you don’t check every box, as we’d be grateful to hear from you.
