What You’ll Do
Ability to work in person at our beautiful Towson, MD, facility Monday–Friday 12:30 pm–8:30 pm
Building authentic, person‑centered therapeutic alliances with your patients
Leading engaging group and individual psychotherapy sessions
Providing patient education by clearly explaining diagnoses, treatment plans, and the implications of their condition, empowering individuals to make informed decisions about their care and promoting improved health outcomes
Creating dynamic mental health education presentations
Engaging in case management responsibilities including assessments, collaborative treatment plans, discharge planning, and managing partnerships with referral sources and other providers
Demonstrating commitment to excellent patient care, measured through clinical outcomes such as patient retention, attendance, successful program completion, and transition from IOP to OP
Collaborating with medical, clinical, and administrative staff to deliver exceptional, wraparound care
Maintaining timely and thorough documentation with a 24–48‑hour turnaround
Coordinating care for all appropriate support services, including referral sources, family members, and other support providers
Participating in crisis support through a shared on‑call rotation
Attending and being prepared for professional meetings, including a treatment team
Providing evaluations for psychiatric disorders using the DSM‑V level of care criteria
Contributing to clinical excellence through outcome‑driven care, family support, and treatment team collaboration
What You Bring
A heart for healing and a head for strategy. You balance empathy with accountability and clinical strength.
Minimum of 2 years mental health experience working in direct patient care
A master’s degree in a related field of study
Working knowledge of CBT, DBT, ACT, trauma‑informed care—EMDR experience is a major plus!
Comfort using Electronic Medical Records (EMRs)
A desire to grow, contribute, and be part of something bigger than yourself
Licensure in one of the following: MD, LCSW, LCSW‑C, LPC, LCPC
If you are personally in recovery, a minimum of three years continuous sobriety is required; five years preferred.
The hourly pay for this position typically ranges from $40 to $47 per hour, depending on factors such as location, education, experience, and licensure.
