Shift Information The position is full time, working four 10‑hour shifts. Call required.

What You Will Do Under the general supervision of the director, Heart and Vascular Services and CV Coordinator, the CV Technologist in the Cath lab is responsible for the provision of services of a highly specialized nature to patients according to physician’s orders. They provide for patient safety and high‑quality testing, and are responsible for the operation of all x‑ray equipment, scrubbing‑in to assist the physician in complex angiographic procedures, and the provision of safe and effective care of the patient having invasive or non‑invasive special procedures in the Cath Lab to include the immediate pre‑procedure period, during the procedure, and immediately following the procedure.
Required Education Graduate of an accredited school of radiology, nursing, or certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist.
Preferred Education ARRT, RN, or RCIS.
Required Skills Basic computer keyboard skills.
Preferred Skills Meditech proficiency.
Required Licensure/Registration/Certification Certified Medical Radiology Technologist, LVN, RN, Cardiovascular Tech I, or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist. Certified in Basic Life Support.
Preferred Licensure/Registration/Certification Certified Critical Care Nurse (CCRN), Cardio‑Vascular Certified RN (CVRN).
Required Experience Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Cath Lab clinical experience.
Preferred Experience Two or more years’ experience in a hospital Cardiac Cath Lab unit.
