Travel Nurse RN – Operating Room – Rapid City, SD
TravelNurseSource is partnering with Core Medical Group to locate a qualified OR RN for an upcoming 13‑week assignment in Rapid City, SD (57701). The opening starts at 1/12/2026 and offers $2,650 per week, paid weekly.
About the Position
The OR RN will work days, support surgical patients throughout the entire operating room sequence, and collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and peri‑operative staff to deliver safe, quality care. Applicants must hold a current RN license in South Dakota and have a minimum of 1 year of operating room experience. Advance cardiac life support (ACLS) and basic life support (BLS) certifications are required.
Key Responsibilities
Assist surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR technicians throughout the entire operating room sequence.
Provide direct patient care, monitor patient status, administer medications, and record data in the electronic health record.
Collaborate with the surgical team to deliver safe, quality care and meet patient‑centered goals.
Comply with Core Medical Group’s policies, policies and procedures, and licensure requirements.
Qualifications
Current RN license in South Dakota or a license transferable to South Dakota.
Minimum of 1 year of OR experience or 2 years of general RN experience with an OR focus.
ACLS and BLS certifications.
Strong communication, critical‑thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
