Duties
Support the goals and mission of the college; provide quality instruction to students; and communicate with your department chair or administrator. Teaching duties will consist of a selection from a variety of Biology discipline courses at the community college level.
Education/Experience
Master's degree in Biological Sciences or a master's degree in related field with 18 graduate hours in Biological Sciences or Biological Sciences subdisciplines required. Post‑secondary teaching experience is required. Two years of community college teaching experience, teaching experience in hybrid and online modalities, and a commitment to teaching a variety of biology courses are all preferred.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will maintain the highest standards for classroom instruction. Applies innovative teaching pedagogies and demonstrates ability to work with students at all skill levels. Teaching duties will consist of preparing, instructing, and evaluating courses; seeking continuous improvement in teaching methodology and student‑centered learning.
