Position Details
Required: License or certification in one of the following: RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES, CNMT
Shifts: 3–12 hours, 8:00 am–8:30 pm, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
No weekends, no call duty
Location: North General within BJH

Role Purpose The Radiology Technologist performs general imaging radiographic procedures on adult and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders.
Responsibilities
Prepare patient and equipment for procedures. Inform patient on instructions and what the procedure entails with a high level of customer service and professionalism.
Perform radiographic imaging examinations independently, in on‑call situations (if applicable), portable exams, and other tasks assigned by the department.
Minimum Requirements
Education: Associate or Trade School equivalency
Experience: None required
Supervisor Experience: None required
Licenses & Certifications: IEMA – Illinois only (exclude MRI); Radiology Technologist – Registered
Preferred Requirements
2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
