Indiana University Health General Internal Medicine and Geriatrics Division
is seeking a compassionate, patient-focused
Geriatrician
to perform suburban hospital inpatient consults and outpatient consult clinic services. Our Geriatrics team understands the intricacies associated with the care of older adults whose medical problems are often complex and interrelated. Our division has programs that capture patients in the whole continuum of geriatric care including inpatient, outpatient, primary care and home visit consultative practices.

Required: Geriatrics Board Eligible or Certified

It focuses on surgical services for cardiovascular and orthopaedics and provides area residents with the latest advancements in medical care and treatment. The hospital offers the only 24/7 coverage for urgent heart care in the city of Fishers and is home to the IU Health Hip and Knee Center, where more hip and knee replacements are performed than any other IU Health facility in the state.
IU Health Fishers Hospital is proud to be an integral part of the Fishers community. A leader in promoting and preserving wellness, hospital team members are eager to work in collaborative ways to help area residents lead healthier lives. Designated as a Dementia Friends facility, it is the first hospital in the state where every employee, regardless of patient interaction, has completed training in caring for patients with dementia.
Announced in 2022, the IU Health Fishers Hospital will undergo a $300 million investment to grow the campus square footage by 50%, adding fifty inpatient beds—including a labor and delivery unit—as well as expanding primary and specialty care services.
