About the Position
TravelNurseSource is working with Prime Staffing to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Crescent City. The role requires a Registered Nurse (RN) with minimum 2 years of ICU experience, an active State or Compact RN license, and certifications in BLS and ACLS (with current expiration dates). The candidate will provide critical care to patients with life‑threatening conditions, performing continuous monitoring, medication administration, ventilator management, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams. The role demands strong critical thinking, quick decision‐making, and the ability to work under pressure.
Responsibilities
Continuous monitoring of patients and interaction with the clinical team
Medication administration
Ventilator management
Coordination with multidisciplinary teams
Working under pressure and making quick, critical decisions
Floating to similar acuity units as needed
Providing BLS and ACLS care
Requirements
Active RN License (State or Compact)
Minimum 2 years ICU experience
BLS and ACLS certifications with valid expiration dates
Must submit all time‑off requests with the initial application
