Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656‑bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, cutting‑edge cancer treatment technology, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.
Responsibilities
Accountable for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting care activities in accordance with HHS standards to deliver efficient, effective, and quality patient care.
Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit.
Demonstrate knowledge of principles of growth and development over the lifespan, assess data reflective of patient status, interpret appropriate information to identify each patient’s age‑specific needs.
Plan for the provision of patient care, including development, modification, and implementation of the plan of care in accordance with HHS standards.
Adhere to and abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.
Qualifications
Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Current OK RN License
BLS certification obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer, prior to providing direct patient care.
NRP certification within 6 months of RN hire or transfer date.
Unit‑specific certificates.
