Registered Nurse (RN) – Respiratory Intermediate Care Unit (7p-7a)
Park Ridge, IL – Full‑time; 7 p‑7 a shift.
Base Pay Range $37.50/hr – $56.25/hr
Where You Will Work 25‑bed unit providing nursing care to a wide scope of diverse patient populations requiring telemetry monitoring for medical, surgical, or cardiac–related issues, and ventilator support, in our Magnet‑designated, Level‑I trauma, teaching hospital. Excellent nursing culture and exposure to patients with diverse and complex medical issues to build your skills, knowledge, and grow in your nursing career.
We’re Looking For
Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which you practice
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association and ACLS within 6 months of hire
At least 1 year of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
Ventilator experience highly desired
What You’ll Do
Play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
Use evidence‑based practice, clinical decision‑making, compassion, and skillful communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
