Valley Hospital Medical Center, located in the heart of Las Vegas, is an acute care and teaching hospital that has provided high‑quality healthcare to residents of Southern Nevada since 1972. Education: Graduate of a CoARC‑approved Respiratory Therapist program. Experience: One year in acute/critical care respiratory therapy; must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. Technical Skills: Demonstrate knowledge and skills required to provide age‑appropriate care as described in department policies and procedures. Licenses & Certifications: Registered Respiratory Therapist credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care; Current Nevada Practitioner of Respiratory Care license; Nevada Blood Gas Technologist (minimum); Basic Life Support (BLS) certified by the American Heart Association; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certified by the American Heart Association. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and/or Neonatal Resuscitative Provider (NRP) to be obtained within the first 90 days if applicable to the facility. EEO Statement
