What You Will Do
Teach nursing theory, supervise clinical practice, evaluate student performance, and provide feedback to enhance learning for students in the School of Nursing.
Uphold legal and ethical standards set by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing and ACEN.
Facilitate student learning in classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings using evidence-based teaching strategies.
Provide timely, constructive feedback and create opportunities for learners to develop clinical reasoning skills.
Support learner development and socialization into the professional nurse role.
Participate in curriculum design and evaluation to ensure alignment with healthcare trends and program outcomes.
Serve as a change agent and leader to promote innovation in nursing education.
Model professional behaviors and advocate for lifelong learning.
Perform other duties as assigned.
