About the Role Provides direct patient care to oncology patients using the nursing process. Reports to the Director or Manager of the department. Requires frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hand/arm movements.
Essential Functions
Patient populations served: Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult.
Exposure: Regular occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens and hazardous materials.
Physical requirements: Frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, repetitive hand/arm movements.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.
Education Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
License & Certifications Current RN license in state of practice. BCLS required; ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred.
