Overview Northwell Health Department of Family Medicine seeks Board Certified/Board Eligible Faculty Physicians to join our team at the Family Medicine Residency Program at

Peconic Bay Medical Center

in Riverhead, NY. Faculty Physicians will play a key role in shaping the educational curriculum, working closely with Program Directors and Associate Program Directors, and ensuring the program follows all regulations of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education.

Key Responsibilities

Shape educational curriculum and collaborate with Program Directors and Associate Program Directors.

Supervise residents and other trainees, including medical students, caring for patients under the department’s auspices.

Coordinate and schedule subspecialty rotations.

Oversee faculty participation in the outpatient curriculum.

Ensure compliance with accreditation requirements and educational standards.

About Peconic Bay Medical Center Founded in 1951 as Central Suffolk Hospital, Peconic Bay Medical Center is the largest hospital in Eastern Suffolk County and the Eastern hub of Northwell Health. As a non‑for‑profit 144‑bed community hospital, it serves as the primary resource for advanced healthcare services for the 250,000+ residents of the Riverhead area and Long Island’s North Fork.
