Our award-winning client is seeking an Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join their team.The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) plays a vital role in providing quality patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. This position requires a strong commitment to patient well-being, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of nursing principles and procedures. The LPN / LVN will assist in various nursing duties, including medication administration, patient monitoring, and providing basic patient care. Responsibilities :
Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding. Monitor vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration. Administer medications as prescribed by the physician. Collect specimens, such as blood and urine samples. Perform basic nursing procedures, such as wound care and catheterization. Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record. Maintain patient charts and records. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Report any changes in patient condition to the registered nurse. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. Participate in team meetings and in-service training. Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines. Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients. Required Qualifications :
Graduate from an accredited LPN / LVN program. Current LPN / LVN license in good standing. Experience :
Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred. Skills :
Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Detail-oriented and organized. Excellent patient care skills.
