Location: Ellis County / Dallas–Fort Worth, TX Facility: Phoenix Residential
About the Role We’re looking for Direct Care Staff with backgrounds in juvenile detention, behavioral health, or residential treatment to work overnight shifts. This is a hands‑on role working with youth (ages 10–17) with mental health behaviors/diagnosis or Intellectual Disabilities/Autism. You’ll ensure safety, provide structure, and support their treatment journey.
Part-time Direct Care Pay Pay: $20 per hour. Position hours are 11p - 7a. Thursday - Saturday shifts required.
What You’ll Do
Supervise youth and maintain a safe, structured environment
Support daily routines: meals, school, recreation, group sessions
Use trauma-informed strategies to de‑escalate challenging behaviors
Document incidents and progress notes
Transport youth to school, appointments, and community outings
Work closely with supervisors and treatment teams
What We’re Looking For
Experience: juvenile detention, behavioral/mental health, or residential treatment preferred
Minimum: High school diploma/GED, 25+ years old (per state licensing requirements)
Strong communication and crisis‑management skills
Valid driver’s license
Must pass FBI fingerprinting & drug test
