Memorial Hospital Belleville and Memorial Hospital Shiloh are recruiting for a PRN Level IIE Nursery Clinical Nurse. This position is in the Nursery units with day and night shifts available on a three-shift per six-week schedule. Base pay range: $30.00/hr - $47.28/hr.
Overview Memorial Hospital Belleville is an acute care hospital offering medical and surgical services plus critical and emergency care, including Children’s at Memorial for pediatric emergency care. It is accredited as a Chest Pain Center with PCI, designated as an Acute Stroke Ready Hospital, and Magnet®-recognized for nursing excellence. Memorial Hospital Shiloh is a 94-bed hospital with Magnet status, providing emergency care, labor & delivery, nursery, medical and surgical services, and critical care.
Responsibilities
Promotes patient- and family-centered care in a healing environment. Educates patients and their families on illness/injury management, post-treatment home care, and medication administration.
Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance; participates in professional development.
Develops, implements, and documents individualized plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team, patient, family or caregiver; communicates the plan of care across the continuum of care.
Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to standards of care; assesses patient preferences and barriers to involvement in care, including cultural and spiritual needs.
Works in a safety-sensitive position; maintains alertness and safe operation as required.
Minimum Requirements
Education : Nursing Diploma/Associate's
Experience : No Experience
Licenses & Certifications : RN
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Nursing experience in NICU / Special Care Nursery (1+ years)
