Outpatient Physical Therapist 1

Location: UMSJ Outpatient Rehabilitation Institute on the campus of the University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center in Towson. The clinic offers a multidisciplinary outpatient setting including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Language Pathology.
Work Schedule 4 or 5 days per week (36 hours a week), weekdays only.
Responsibilities
Deliver physical therapy services to patients in accordance with professional standards, state licensing, code of ethics, and departmental policies.
Perform patient assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, set long‑ and short‑term objectives, and modify plans as needed.
Document evaluations, re‑evaluations, and care provided in the medical record per departmental standards.
Inform patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members of evaluation results, treatment plans, and referral needs.
Provide therapy education and counseling to individuals.
Mentor and train clinical team members and students as departmental needs permit.
Demonstrate interdisciplinary, safe, patient‑centered care and excellent customer service.
Participate in performance‑improvement activities, propose improvements, and assist in issue resolution.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Doctor of Physical Therapy degree required (Bachelor’s or Master’s accepted if licensed prior to 2016).
Licensed Physical Therapist in Maryland.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Pay range: $36.84 – $54.21 per hour.
