Job Description We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst to join a growing accounting team within a fast-paced, technology-focused organization. This role supports the full accounts receivable cycle, including invoicing, collections, and account reconciliation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare monthly invoices, record cash receipts, and support AR collections efforts.
Analyze financial data to produce variance reports, trend analyses, and account activity summaries.
Ensure accurate classification of costs across accounts and projects.
Maintain compliance with internal controls, GAAP, and applicable regulatory standards.
Assist with annual and periodic audits, including preparation of supporting documentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project tracking, reporting, and closeout activities.
Contribute to special projects and perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or finance.
Experience in a government contracting environment required.
Proficiency with Deltek Costpoint required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
