Your role
As an
Accountant , your mission is to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely financial reporting that supports the success of our Finance team. You will play a key role in processing transactions, maintaining precise records, and delivering actionable insights through reliable financial data. By combining attention to detail with a commitment to excellence, you’ll help drive transparency and integrity across all financial operations. You will report to the Business Controller.
You will:
Manage cash applications, including processing bank payments, wires (ACH), and posting payments in the system.
Handle tax-related postings and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
Analyze cost centers to identify variances and recommend corrective actions.
Prepare and post journal entries and track accrual balances.
Reconcile tax and payroll accounts to maintain accurate financial records.
Support month end closing processes and ensure timely, accurate reporting.
Prepare accounting reports and schedules for internal audiences (management) and external audiences (compliance reporting), including consolidation of financial statements, cash flow reporting, and budget reporting.
Act as backup for AR/AP and support freight invoice processing in Esker.

You have at least 5 years of experience working in Finance or Accounting.
You hold a bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance (or related field), or have equivalent work experience.
You have experience working with banking transactions and cash applications.
You are familiar with cost center analysis and variance reporting.
You are proficient in Excel.

Job location Hybrid This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our Manufacturing facility in Voorheesville, United States (US).
