Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Bristol, Vermont
An exciting opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve a K-12 school with a mixed caseload. This contract position offers a full-time schedule from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, totaling 37.5 hours weekly with the possibility of additional hours as needed. The role involves replacing a virtual SLP candidate and provides an engaging environment supporting students across all grade levels.
Key Responsibilities
Provide speech-language therapy services to students with a diverse range of communication disorders
Manage a mixed caseload that includes teletherapy and in-person sessions
Collaborate with educators, special education staff, and healthcare providers to deliver effective interventions
Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports aligned with state and federal guidelines
Serve as a case manager for students requiring special education services
Desired Qualifications And Experience
Current SLP license, with preference for candidates holding Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
Experience working in school settings, preferably with K-12 populations
Background in special education and case management responsibilities
Familiarity with teletherapy delivery methods and pediatric practice
Conditioned to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams in both healthcare and educational environments
Location Position based in Bristol, Vermont
