Speech Language Pathologist (CCC or CFY)

Beautiful Gate Center (BGC) Located in North Charleston, SC, Beautiful Gate Center is a center dedicated to supporting children with Autism and Developmental Disorders. The center provides individual speech, ABA, occupational therapies, and special education. BGC specializes in aiding children with cognitive delays, behavioral challenges, life skills deficits, and communication delays, including non‑verbal challenges. BGC emphasizes the use of Augmentative and Alternative Communication technologies to empower children with a voice for communication.

Role Description This is a full‑time on‑site role for a Speech‑Language Pathologist (CCC or CFY) based in North Charleston, SC. The Speech‑Language Pathologist will assess, diagnose, and develop individualized therapy plans for children with speech, language, and communication disorders. The role includes collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, providing direct therapy to children, integrating Augmentative and Alternative Communication tools to support communication, and working closely with families to equip them with strategies to foster growth at home.

Qualifications

Expertise in Speech Therapy and general Speech-related practices

Proficiency in addressing Communication Disorders

Knowledge and skills in evaluating and managing Language Disorders

Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or working toward Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)

Licensure or eligibility for licensure in South Carolina

Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
