Major Duties & Responsibilities
Welcome all customers and set expectations.
Custom-fit glasses and accurately place prescription lenses.
Act as a leader in optical acumen.
Take and record measurements, adjust/fit eyewear accurately, ensuring finished eyewear meets standards and customer needs.
Assist team with complex product needs and prescriptions.
Use technology accurately despite time pressure, providing exceptional product knowledge and appropriate tools.
Proactively explore root causes, forward‑thinking, ensuring customer satisfaction and exceeding expectations.
Multi‑task, prioritize, and manage time among competing priorities.
Strive to achieve exceptional results on Brand KPIs and competencies.
Maintain store appearance, keeping it clean, attractive, and organized.
Inform management of safety opportunities and demonstrate safe work practices.
Be resourceful, self‑motivated, and continually seek learning and improvement.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, including discounts, promotions, and inventory management.
Basic Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent.
State licensure.
Optical dispensing experience.
Strong customer‑service skills: communicator, listener, team builder.
Knowledge of current store merchandise.
Strong basic math skills.
Awareness of current fashion trends.
Ability to sell and use an iPad/tablet.
Familiarity with POS, computers, and calculators.
Embrace new technology and change.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous customer‑service and retail experience.
Pay Range: $26.27 - $35.08 per hour. Benefits may include health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and employee discounts.
