Your Role As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will assist physical therapists in providing quality, evidence‑based, individualized physical therapy programs. Your caseload will be primarily orthopedic, with a variety of sports medicine, musculoskeletal, vestibular, and other conditions. The role requires direct patient care, patient education, and collaboration with other professionals.
What you’ll do
Assist physical therapists in providing direct patient care, according to the therapist’s treatment plan.
Assist patients, as necessary, with walking, transferring, and dressing.
Conduct therapy practice within defined standards of care.
Create fitness and wellness‑oriented programs tailored to patients’ specific needs; promote healthy lifestyles by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
Communicate effectively with other professionals and support staff to achieve positive patient outcomes.
Document patient care services via EMR.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, quality improvement programs, safety, environmental, and infection control standards as required.
About You
Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Active Physical Therapist Assistant license.
Passion for delivering quality, evidence‑based patient care.
Superior customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to manage and interact positively with a diverse patient population of all ages.
Drive to continually learn and grow.
