Base Pay Range $35.00/hr – $35.00/hr
Job Overview Braverhood is seeking a weekend‑only (Direct Support Professional) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in the home and community. You will work closely with case supervisors to help achieve personal goals, document services, and comply with agency and OPWDD regulations.
Responsibilities
Foster a positive environment for individuals to achieve personal goals (e.g., social interactions, daily living activities).
Work closely with Case Supervisors on monthly goals and action plans.
Document services rendered and client progress daily and monthly.
Provide support for individuals with various developmental disabilities in the home and the community.
Attend mandatory staff meetings and training once a year.
Submit all paperwork and monthly summaries on time.
Adhere to all agency and OPWDD regulations.
Qualifications / Requirements
Accountability and commitment are must.
Associate’s degree required.
Experience with children or young adults in the special needs community.
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
Must be a U.S. citizen or have a work permit.
Complete online DSP training course once hired.
Punctuality and reliable attendance.
Dress code: Casual, appropriate and respectful.
