Licensed Practical Nurse - Torrance State Hospital (2nd Shift)

Responsibilities
Provide total nursing care and related services to residents on designated units, ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards.
Plan, implement, and evaluate resident care in collaboration with a registered nurse.
Assist with daily activities, medication administration, and special resident needs.
Document resident progress and care activities accurately and timely.
Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and resident reviews.
Schedule & Benefits • Full‑time employment • 2nd shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM with a 30‑minute lunch break • Every third weekend off • Overtime as needed (subject to operational needs) • Free parking • Competitive salary starting at $67,558 annual (for new hires) • Comprehensive benefits package including pay increases, paid leave, holidays, and career‑advancement opportunities.
Qualifications & Eligibility
Active Pennsylvania Licensed Practical Nurse license or a current temporary practice permit.
Temporary practice permit holders must obtain full licensure within 12 months of starting employment.
Must be able to perform essential job functions, including physical and communicative requirements.
PA residency not required.
Eligible candidates include those completing an approved nursing program within the past 60 days who can provide proof of temporary or full licensure upon hire.
