RN – Outpatient Cardiology (Per Diem)
Overlake Medical Center & Clinics is seeking a Registered Nurse to support our Cardiology Outpatient Imaging unit. The RN will primarily perform cardiac imaging exams including Coronary CTA, Cardiac PET, Stress Echo Treadmill, Exercise Treadmill, and Nuclear Stress Studies. IVs will be started for Bubble studies and medication injections.
Pay Range Hourly: $49.00 – $87.12
Responsibilities • Perform cardiac imaging exams and assist with equipment setup. • Initiate IVs and administer medications for Bubble study and other procedures. • Interpret cardiac rhythms and participate in rhythm assessment during first week. • Provide excellent patient care and communicate with interdisciplinary team.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing required; BSN preferred.
Current Washington state RN license.
CPR BLS and ACLS certification.
Strong EKG skills and cardiac exam competency.
Stress test experience highly preferred.
Conscious sedation experience preferred.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Experience with procedural sedation, critical care, or ED nursing.
Cardiac experience desired for coverage in CT, MRI, and Echo.
