as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and support individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) while utilizing Spanish language skills to enhance client care and community outreach.
Responsibilities
Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Provide direct one‑on‑one therapy to individuals with ASD
Collect and record data on client progress and behavior and assist with development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to ensure consistency in treatment approach
Support clients in developing and improving social, communication, and daily living skills
Use positive reinforcement techniques to encourage desired behaviors
Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients
Qualifications
Previous experience working with individuals with autism or related developmental disabilities is preferred but not required
Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques is a plus
Ability to follow instructions and implement behavior intervention plans effectively
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Patience, empathy, and compassion when working with individuals with special needs
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Responsible, reliable, and respectful
