Registered Veterinary Technician
to join our team! This is an excellent opportunity for skilled, outgoing technicians who want to fully utilize their education and expertise while making meaningful connections with clients and their pets.
In this role, you will:
Provide excellent patient care during surgical and dental procedures - including anesthesia monitoring, patient prep and recovery, as well as dental cleanings, radiographs and extractions.
Ensure efficient exam room workflow and outstanding client communication.
Review treatment plans, provide discharge instructions, and address client questions with empathy and clarity.
Collaborate with your team to support the veterinarian’s orders during outpatient visits, ensuring the highest level of patient care.
Schedule:
This is a full-time position with 8-hour shifts scheduled Monday through Friday. Flexible evening availibility is appreciated to accomodate emergencies that may require our assistance.
Full-time benefits and compensation**:
Compensation:
$25-30 per hour, for each hour worked*
Bonus package:
$2000
CE allowance:
up to $1,000 annually based on tenure

Medical, dental, and vision insurance with HSA option and choice of United HealthCare or Kaiser Permanente

Vacation + sick time accrual starting at 80 hours per year, increasing with tenure up to 160 hours per year (based on full-time hours worked)

Minimum qualifications and skill set:
3+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
Current Registered Veterinary Technician License in the state of California
Proficiency in the following skills:
Venipuncture, placing IV catheters and administering injections
Anesthetic and surgical support
Dental prophy, radiographs and extractions
In house laboratory processing including microscopy
