Job Summary and Qualifications As a highly‑skilled compassionate NICU Nurse you will deliver exceptional patient care to our most vulnerable patients—premature and sick newborns. In addition to providing around‑the‑clock care, NICU RNs offer support to parents with a focus on emotional encouragement and education.

Responsibilities

Perform life‑sustaining care for newborns in need and assess neonates at delivery, including neonatal resuscitation when required.

Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and provide vital nutrients to newborns.

Maintain and update records of patient care to ensure infants are breathing and maturing properly.

Collaborate closely with department leadership and physicians to coordinate treatment plans and examinations.

Educate parents on day‑to‑day operations, goals, treatment plans and at‑home care procedures.

Act in a composed and professional manner, especially under pressure.

Qualifications

Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Neonate Resuscitation must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.

PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.

Registered Nurse credential.

Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in nursing.
