Position Overview We are seeking an experienced
Registered Nurse (RN)
to join the Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high‑acuity environment.
Qualifications
Minimum
5 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
required
Current
Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Rhode Island
(must be maintained)
Current
CPR certification
and any additional credentials required for Emergency Nursing
Ability to lift and assist patients into chairs, wheelchairs, or stretchers and transport patients as needed
Proficiency in
spoken and written English
Key Responsibilities
Implement, monitor, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
Accurately assess, document, and communicate patient conditions to the healthcare team
Serve as the primary coordinator of care across all disciplines to ensure seamless patient treatment
Execute physician and nursing orders in accordance with established protocols
Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning in collaboration with interdisciplinary team members
