Research Project Coordinator - School of Public Health

* Provides supporting administrative functions to the principal investigators; tracks and maintains an inventory of over 100,000 biospecimens; assists with grant applications and progress reports; assists with tracking of project expenses and purchases; helps to prepare and edit slides for scientific presentations and assists with manuscript editing and submission.* Maintains and updates websites and social media accounts for the research program; develops participant newsletters and materials translating scientific research findings for lay audiences.* Develops policy briefs and/or technical reports about scientific accomplishments to inform local, state and federal officials on study results.* Opportunities also exist for independent data analysis and publishing in peer reviewed journals, if desired.* Performs other duties as assigned.* Up to 22 days of vacation, 10 recognized holidays, and sick time.* Competitive health insurance packages with priority appointments and lower copays/coinsurance.* Take advantage of our free Metro transit U-Pass for eligible employees.* WashU provides eligible employees with a defined contribution (403(b)) Retirement Savings Plan, which combines employee contributions and university contributions starting at 7%.* WashU covers the cost of tuition for you and your family, including dependent undergraduate-level college tuition up to 100% at WashU and 40% elsewhere after seven years with us.Yes.
