Location Charlotte, NC (On‑site – Must work from the office)

Working Hours Monday to Friday

Salary Range $42,800 - $46,780 per year

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Events Assistant to join our dynamic team. As an Events Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of various events, ensuring that each event runs smoothly and successfully. This position is perfect for someone who has a passion for event management and enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in the planning and execution of various events including conferences, workshops, and community outreach programs.

Coordinate logistics such as venue selection, catering, transportation, and equipment rentals for events.

Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to develop promotional materials and social media campaigns for events.

Manage event registrations, including tracking attendee responses and generating reports.

Support the setup and breakdown of events, ensuring all materials and equipment are in place and functioning properly.

Assist with on‑site event management, including greeting attendees, managing schedules, and providing support to speakers and vendors.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field preferred.

Previous experience in event planning or coordination is a plus, either through internships or volunteer work.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members, clients, and vendors proficiently.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with event management software.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing priorities as events evolve.
