Counselor

Position Title: Counselor Sunrise Detox is a premiere center for drug and alcohol detox. Sunrise promises to give you one of the most comfortable medical detox processes available. We believe in creating a different experience where our road to recovery is dignified. Our clients reside in comfortable modern, elegantly furnished rooms where good nutrition is also an essential part of the detoxification process. We offer individual and group counseling to clients and bring in 12 Step meetings to show clients they are not alone once they leave treatment.

Duties & Responsibilities

New patient intake and orientation

Facilitates orientation groups with patients

Conducts group sessions for all patients

Addresses patient's concerns and helps eliminate possibility of AMA

Provides Case Management

Documentation in patient medical record

Requirements

MUST have CADC or LCADC

Minimum one-year experience in substance abuse field, detox preferred

Experience conducting group sessions

Flexibility and willingness are great attributes

Schedule

Full Time; 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

1 Weekend shift per week required

Compensation

Hourly rate competitive with experience and location
