ABOUT THE ROLE:
Are you a strategic finance professional with a passion for analysis, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making? Orion180 is seeking a Manager or Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join our growing Finance Department. This leader will play a key role in driving financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, and delivering analytical insights that support our company’s strategic initiatives. This is a hands‑on leadership role within a small, collaborative, and fast‑paced team. WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Lead Financial Planning & Forecasting: Oversee and enhance annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes, partnering closely with business intelligence and cross-functional teams. Develop Financial Models: Build and maintain detailed revenue, expense, and forecasting models using Vena and other financial tools. Reporting & Analysis: Prepare financial reports, including variance analyses, KPIs, and dashboards through Power BI within the Vena reporting platform. Strategic Insight: Analyze financial performance to provide actionable insights and data‑driven recommendations for leadership decision‑making. Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work with departments across the organization to ensure financial goals align with operational objectives. Support Business Growth: Contribute to major business initiatives such as geographic expansion, product diversification, and capital‑raising activities. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial systems and processes to improve accuracy and efficiency. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required. MBA, CPA, CPCU, or CFA preferred. EXPERIENCE 4+ years of FP&A experience, including 2+ years in a leadership capacity. Experience in the insurance industry or other financial services with recurring revenue models is preferred. TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY:
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills. Strong knowledge of Power BI, Vena, or similar financial planning platforms. Understanding of US GAAP and STAT Reporting Standards. Experience with NetSuite Financials is a plus. TRAITS & COMPETENCIES:
