Solution Design & Delivery
Lead end-to-end solution design, configuration, and integration across multiple SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, QM, PM, EWM, HCM/SuccessFactors, Ariba, IBP, SAC, and S/4HANA). Translate business requirements into robust technical designs, ensuring performance, security, and compliance standards.
Technical Leadership
Serve as technical authority, guide consultants, review designs, code/config, and documentation for quality and consistency. Establish and enforce best practices for transport management, change control, testing, and release.
Integration & Architecture
Design and support interfaces (IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, OData/REST APIs) and middleware integrations (e.g., SAP PI/PO, CPI). Collaborate with enterprise architects to align solutions with target SAP and cloud architectures.
Continuous Learning & Enablement
Proactively learn and master new SAP modules and capabilities (e.g., S/4HANA innovations, BTP, automation tools, AI/ML-enabled analytics). Mentor team members; develop reusable assets, standards, and knowledge base articles.
Data & Testing
(Preferred) Lead or support data migration strategy and execution (data profiling, cleansing, mapping, conversion, reconciliation; tools such as SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit, SAP Data Services, LSMW). Define and execute test strategies (unit, integration, UAT, performance), traceability from requirements to results.
Stakeholder Management
Partner with business owners, PMs, and SMEs to prioritize requirements, manage risks, and deliver value-focused outcomes. Provide clear status updates, issue/risks management, and post-go-live hypercare support.
Qualifications
Experience:
10+ years of SAP consulting or technical implementation experience with breadth across at least 2–3 major modules and depth in one or more. Technical Skills:
Strong hands-on configuration and troubleshooting in core modules (e.g., FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, EWM, QM or SuccessFactors/Ariba/IBP). Solid understanding of S/4HANA data model changes and simplification lists. Integration expertise: IDoc, BAPI, OData, CPI/PI/PO, RFC, API management. Exposure to ABAP (debugging, enhancements, user exits/BAdIs), Fiori concepts (tiles, catalogs, authorizations), and authorizations/roles.
Methodologies:
Experience with full lifecycle implementations and Fit-to-Standard (for S/4HANA), agile/waterfall delivery, and Solution Manager/Focused Build (or equivalent). Soft Skills:
Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and ability to lead and mentor others. Mindset:
Demonstrated growth mindset—willingness and ability to learn new SAP modules and keep pace with the SAP roadmap. Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). Certifications (nice to have):
SAP certifications in key modules, S/4HANA, SAP BTP, CPI, SuccessFactors, Ariba, or IBP. Preferred (Nice-to-Have)
Data Migration
experience: end-to-end approach, tooling, data quality, reconciliation, and cutover planning. Experience with SAP BTP (CAP, Integration Suite), Fiori/UI5 custom apps, and automation (test/data load). Analytics
exposure: SAC, CDS views, embedded analytics, or BW/4HANA. Experience in regulated industries (e.g., Pharma, Finance) with GxP/SoD considerations. Background in cloud integrations (Azure/AWS), security, and performance tuning. Core Competencies
Architectural Thinking:
Ability to design scalable, maintainable SAP solutions that fit enterprise architecture standards. Depth + Breadth:
Strong module expertise with cross-functional awareness. Ownership & Delivery:
Drives outcomes; plans, estimates, and executes with rigor; de-risks complex cutovers. Collaboration & Coaching:
Elevates team capability through mentoring and knowledge sharing. Adaptability & Learning:
Quickly absorbs new modules/features; champions continuous improvement. Success Metrics (KPIs)
On-time, on-budget delivery of SAP projects/releases with minimal defects post-go-live. Reduction in manual workarounds via process optimization and automation. Integration reliability (error rates, throughput, MTTR) and data migration accuracy. Adoption metrics (Fiori usage, training completion) and positive stakeholder feedback (CSAT/NPS). Reusable assets created (templates, standards, knowledge articles) and team skill uplift. Sample Projects You Might Lead
S/4HANA greenfield or brownfield transformation with cross-module scope (e.g., FI/CO + MM + SD + EWM). Implementing SAP CPI integrations to external systems (CRM, MES, tax engines). Rolling out Fiori apps and role-based authorizations to improve user experience. Designing and leading data migration from ECC/legacy systems into S/4HANA. Deploying IBP for demand/supply planning or Ariba for guided buying/sourcing. Get to Know Us
