On our 8‑bed LDRP unit we deliver over 350 babies annually.

The candidate will be cross‑trained in all aspects of obstetrical care within The Birthing Suite.

You will work alongside a well‑established OB/GYN and pediatric group in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, with current NH RN licensure.

Previous OB nursing experience strongly preferred.

Baccalaureate in nursing strongly preferred.

Certification in specialty strongly preferred.

NRP and STABLE certifications required.

This is a per diem position in The Birthing Suite at Monadnock Community Hospital.

Responsibilities

Patient Care:

Provide direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions to ensure optimal outcomes.

Collaborative Teamwork:

Collaborate with physicians, fellow nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of patients' conditions, treatments, and progress. Report any changes or concerns promptly to the appropriate team members.

Medication Administration:

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to hospital policies and protocols.

Patient Education:

Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and preventive measures to promote overall wellness.

Support and Advocacy:

Offer emotional support and advocate for patients' rights, ensuring they receive compassionate and respectful care.

Adherence to Policies and Regulations:

Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines to maintain a safe and ethical work environment.

Continuous Learning:

Stay updated on medical advancements, best practices, and industry standards through ongoing professional development activities.

Requirements

Maintenance of confidential information.

Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and equipment.

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by New Hampshire Board of Nursing.

Working Hours This is a part‑time, variable shift/nights position, 24 hours per week.
