The Director of the Epworth Center for Counseling is responsible for the oversight, staff supervision and coordination of the Center's mental health and counseling services. Provides vision and leadership in establishing and monitoring the scope and direction of the Epworth Center for Counseling, ensuring its operation is consistent with national standards of practice. Provides sound fiscal management of the Epworth Center for Counseling's budget. Monitors the budget, establishes funding priorities and identifies optional funding resources. Oversees the provision of time‑efficient, culturally informed individual and group counseling and related services through training, consultation, supervision and evaluation of the activities of the Epworth Center for Counseling's clinical professionals and staff. Qualifications

Ph.D./Psy.D. in clinical or counseling psychology preferred; Professional license in the state of South Carolina required. Professional licenses may include LISW, LPC or LMFT. Minimum of five years of experience working in a mental health setting with supervisory responsibilities. Prefer seven years of progressive experience with at least two years in a leadership position. Experience conducting diagnostic evaluations and treatment assessments. Must be proficient with various software programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel and electronic communication. Know or have the ability to quickly learn any database system required. Must be able to pass standard background checks including: drug screen, employment physical, SLED, DSS Central Registry and Sex Offenders Registry.
