Join Our Team as a CNA Instructor / Charge Nurse (LVN or RN) We are seeking

a dedicated RN or LVN who is passionate about education while still enjoying hands‑on patient care. This CNA Instructor role is ideal for a nurse who is excited to teach and mentor the next generation of caregivers while also supporting resident care on the floor when classes are not in session. Reliability, professionalism, and a strong commitment to both education and resident care are essential for success in this position.

Your Impact as a CNA Instructor / Charge Nurse This dual‑role position combines CNA instruction with Charge Nurse responsibilities.

CNA Instructor Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, and teach CNA classes in accordance with state‑approved curriculum and program requirements

Provide instruction in classroom and clinical settings in a clear, engaging, and supportive manner

Evaluate student performance through examinations, quizzes, and practical demonstrations

Provide feedback, guidance, and support to help students succeed

Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance

Stay current with nursing best practices and incorporate updates into instruction

Collaborate with instructors and staff to ensure smooth operation of the CNA program

Participate in faculty meetings, workshops, and professional development activities

Charge Nurse Responsibilities (when classes are not in session):

Give direction to Nurse Aides regarding appropriate resident care

Properly administer resident medications

Perform nursing treatments as ordered

Implement resident care plans in compliance with company policies, federal guidelines, and physician orders

Accurately and promptly transcribe physician orders

Complete nursing assessments and ensure timely, accurate documentation in resident charts

Participate in shift reports and interdisciplinary communication

Educate support staff on resident care needs and nursing procedures

Maintain a safe working environment, following infection control and body mechanics guidelines

Assist with staffing coverage as needed to address shortages

Reliability, trustworthiness, and consistent attendance are essential functions of this role, along with the ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.

What Makes You a Great Fit

Active

RN or LVN license

in good standing

Minimum

one year of nursing experience

in a facility setting

Completion of a course in adult education

or

experience teaching adults or supervising nurse aides

Strong technical, assessment, and documentation skills

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

Ability to respond to emergencies and manage workflow effectively
